The first Workshop Purification Therapies, held in Milan on January 27th – 28th, 2017 at the Centro Congressi Cariplo, brought together leading clinicians and researchers to explore the role of therapeutic apheresis in advancing care.
Promoted by Aferetica, the event marked the start of a collaborative network focused on developing innovative apheretic strategies to improve clinical outcomes and expand access to treatments such as organ transplantation.
With contributions from experts in critical care, nephrology, cardiothoracic surgery, and gastroenterology, the workshop encouraged cross-disciplinary dialogue and opened new perspectives on the evolution of care through purification therapies.
