The 2022 edition of the Workshop Purification Therapies, held on September 30th and October 1st at the Centro Congressi Cariplo, represented an important step in a long-standing journey of collaborative research and clinical innovation.
Over two days, clinicians, researchers, and industry partners came together to discuss how ideas evolve into knowledge, and how that knowledge translates into therapeutic systems and real,world solutions. Sessions explored key topics in transplantation, organ perfusion, and inflammatory diseases, with a special focus on the role of evidence-based medicine.
The program featured keynote lectures, expert round tables, and poster presentations on emerging technologies and clinical experiences, from organ regeneration to sepsis and liver failure.
All abstracts were published in a special supplement of the Blood Purification journal, reinforcing the workshop’s role as a platform for high-quality scientific exchange.
